Cost Comparison
Cost comparisons are not easy for APAYG because charges are based on time of use pricing, unlike standard metering which has a single rate that applies all day. APAYG prices vary throughout the day and so using appliances at the cheapest times can result in significant savings.
For convenience, cost comparisons are based on average consumption levels. Individual use will vary from average, especially if you do change to take advantage of the lower rates.
